Pay: £20 per hour
Job Summary / Job Purpose:
As a mentor your role is to conduct 1:1 session with the young person as part of this role you will be
required to also carry out a number of conversations and tasks which will include:
● Rapport building, discussions on gangs and exploitation, drugs and weapons, critical
thinking, decision making, and plan of actions.
● Sessions also include career advice, job/internship hunting and application writing, as well as
outings to inspirational events which is also optional.
● Safety planning for any young person at risk of violence.
● Chaperoning to court hearings or any official meetings.
● Completing session overview.
● Interim meetings with relevant department to evaluate sessions
● Taking young person to inspirational events
